Who is responsible for your data

Lantern Files is run by Raffaele Tannoia in Uppsala, Sweden. Contact: lanternfiles.game@gmail.com.

What we collect

Waitlist: your email address, your chosen language and when you signed up. The game: the name you enter and your answers are stored in the room you play in. The game uses an anonymous sign-in, so there is no account and no email address. After the game you can leave feedback: a rating, difficulty, length, whether you would pay and free text. It is stored linked to your player in the room, not to your email address. Please do not put personal data in the free text. Your browser also keeps your name and which cases you have played on your own device.

Why and on what basis

Your email address is used only to tell you when new cases are available. The basis is your consent. Your game name and answers are used to make the game work, and feedback to improve the cases.

How long we keep it

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe. Game names and answers in rooms are kept for now. We do not yet delete them automatically, but we delete them on request.

Who processes data for us

The database is run by Supabase and is located in Stockholm. The site is hosted by Vercel. They process the data on our behalf.

Cookies

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. To make the game work, an anonymous sign-in and your choices are stored locally in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete data about you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
